HAUL: Ulta does it again!

Ulta, Ulta, Ulta. Notorious for their 20% coupons and their BOGO sales and everything else that is so hard to ignore! I couldn't resist these bad boys one little bit. I'm so happy with this haul. Well, actually, this haul is two separate orders, but shhh. Why not just do one big post on it?! Reviews for certain products will be up this week / next week!

Sell, Sell, Sell!

nikonrumors.com

Decided to up the ante on my camera. Going for the Nikon D5200, which also comes with a larger tag of ~$800. If I put away $100 a week I'm looking at about 8 weeks. That's not including tip money, which hopefully I can make a lot of. Not to mention the amount of shifts at work I will need to pick up.

I started going through my closet as well as every other location in my room and decided that to make some extra cash I'm going to start selling some of it online. I have a few outlets in mind including: Reddit and eBay. I am more partial to Reddit because I like the community that I stumbled upon. I know quite a few people sell their clothing through instagram, but I'm a little shaky on that. Instagram doesn't seem all that trustworthy, but then again Reddit can probably be classified the same way.

I ordered a crap ton of flat rate boxes and envelopes, but I also plan on weighing out the smaller and lighter items on the scale at work. That way I can save people a dollar or two when it comes to shipping.

I'm really amped up to start cleaning out my closet and getting ready to sell some of my older clothes and bags! Of course I am still new to this so I will be researching like crazy, but I am so beyond thrilled!

Promise to have a new makeup related post up for you guys a little later today!

On a low/no buy. The horror!

http://www.newegg.com/

It had to happen at some point. Sadly, it is happening now. But for a good reason, I promise! My Nikon D60 camera broke about a year ago and I've been meaning to replace it. I initially wanted to get it fixed, but all the camera shops that were relatively close all closed. So now it's time to upgrade!

What does this mean in the long run? Higher quality images, say goodbye to cellphone quality! Plus, video tutorials & reviews!

I'm extra excited for this camera, but god knows I have no self control. Like, for example, I will be buying Heroine and Saint Germain before actually starting.

I must avoid all drugstores, all online shops, and hide my debit card. I'll just live vicariously through my friends hauls. Oh boy.

In the words of Joseph Conrad, "The Horror! The Horror!"

Glam From /u/lilpeedee

Nothing like getting surprise gifts in the mail! This lovely gift was sent by redditor /u/lilpeedee over at /r/randomactsofmakeup. Let me tell you, I am beyond thrilled!

Real Techniques has some of the best brushes I have ever used. Probably my HG brush line. My collection is mainly all of their brushes. The expert face brush is by far one of my favorite brushes from this line. Sadly, my first one was destroyed. I still used it, but oh god, it was terrible. This new guy makes me so happy! I can finally have a soft and clean new brush. If you don't already own this brush, you need to! It is the perfect liquid foundation brush! I plan on doing a review on it at some point, so look out for it.

Next we have the Tonymoly Petite Bunny Gloss Bar in Juicy Peach. This is my first ever Tonymoly product and I am not disappointed at all! The color is a beautiful sheer pinky/peachy color and it goes on so nicely. I am so in love with it. Usually I'm scared that sheer glosses wont show up on my lips, but boy oh boy was I happily surprised by this product!

Quick B&A For 1/22/13

I am notorious for being late for work. It probably has to do with the fact that I live only five minutes away so I feel like I have all the time in the world. I don't. So here is my quick and fast look that happened in only 15 minutes! Well it would have been 15 minutes if I didn't have the attention span of a goldfish. For 9am I think I did a pretty good job!

Review: Freeman's Charcoal and Black Sugar Detox Mask

Ah, finally a day off of work. Happy Monday! Today I decided to try out my new Charcoal and Black Sugar mask by Freeman. So glad I did. After my thoughts there will be a few swatches and images of the product below!

First Impressions: This stuff just looks gross. The smell isn't bad, but I wouldn't say I want to eat it out of the tubing. It's a thick-ish texture, but not like a mud mask. And it is full of black sugar, which I really, really like. I was a little iffy on how to put this on my face, but I just went for it and I got it down pretty quickly. Obviously it was patchy so I wanted to make sure I got the bigger black parts on my problem areas and smeared around aimlessly until my face was fully saturated. I did about two nickel sized squirts on my hand, I probably could have used less, but it was fun to rub all over. The directions said to leave it on for 5-7 minutes, but I'm pretty sure I left it on for longer. Then, before you wash it off, you're suppose to massage it into your skin for a minute or two. Which I did, and then washed off with warm water. Now, let me tell you about how I could NOT stop touching my face. Holy moly was it soft and smooth and perfect! I already noticed that a lot of my blemishes seemed to have calmed down!

Time To Try Again

I was a huge fan of Ipsy, back when I first signed up. Who could resist a cute makeup bag and a few goodies for only $10? Not me, that's for sure. I loved getting my Ipsy bags in the mail every month and it was so much fun to explore what was inside.

Overtime, I became less and less satisfied with everything Ipsy was sending me. Shades of color I would never wear. Products that would never be used. I re-took my quiz and I filled things out to customize my bag better, but nothing changed. I canceled my subscription in October 2013 after being so unsatisfied with that month's bag.

Today I just signed up for Beauty Box 5. I looked up several reviews and this seemed like just the thing for me! It's not a ton of makeup, which is perfect because I don't want to spend $10 on makeup I wont ever wear. Now I spend $12 on products like lotions and other fun goodies I normally wouldn't buy for myself.

I joined where I will receive a free January box, which I'm so excited about! I'll post pictures and my review of the things in the box.

Now I just need to figure out when I get billed every month...

Skin Care Haul at CVS

Ah, yes. Everyone loves a good makeup haul and a good makeup day, but what about your skin in general? I was beginning to run out of face wash and lotion, so I decided to hit up CVS on the way home from my boyfriend's apartment. (I wish it was a Walgreens, such better deals!)
